The linux4nano crew has put together the Nanotron 3000, a robot made with Lego Mindstorms for automating the brute force hacking of Apple iPod Nanos.

What an excellent use for Mindstorms.
I once used Mindstorms to repeatedly hit certain keys on my keyboard for a couple days, but I definitely wouldn't have thought of using it for bruteforcing the nano.
