Craft Night Friends – this is your promised laser update on the website. As of Friday night the laser was back working again. It should be good to go for Monday’s Craft Night.

Important note that will help us keep the laser lasering – do not plug the space heater into the same outlet panel that the laser is plugged into. If you notice that someone else has done so, please unplug the heater from that panel immediately. Thanks!

Intro to Internet of Things: Build a Subway Countdown Clock is taking place at NYC Resistor on Sat, Feb 1. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.

Join us at NYC Resistor to build a personalized subway countdown clock. This class will introduce the basics of Arduino, electronics, and other important concepts you’ll need to join in on the Internet of Things (IoT). We’ll use a WiFI connected Arduino microcontroller to pull down real time subway data and display it to a LCD/LED character display. Never be late for a subway again**!
